Variations of odorous VOCs detected by different assessors via gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry and olfactory detection port (ODP) system
Odorous volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were analysed via a thermal desorption gas chromatograph coupled with a mass spectrometer and olfactory detection port (TD-GC-MS/ODP) to characterize odour emissions from a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). Three trained ODP assessors, screened according to the European dynamic olfactometry standard (EN: 13725), were used for the olfactory analysis. ...

Comparison of different measurement methods of odour and odorants used in the odour impact assessment of wastewater treatment plants in Poland
The aim of this study was to compare sensory and analytical methods used to measure odour and odorants concentrations for odour impact assessment on municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). ...

Online Analysis and Monitoring of Odorous Compounds Sulfur & VOC Monitoring
The vigi e-nose is an analyzer able to track VOCs, Sulfur compounds and other molecules as ammonia for example. It allows to provide a rich global fingerprint to correlate with human sensory evaluation as dynamic olfactometry as example. It is possible to train the vigi e-nose with human sensory samples to study correlation with ASTM 679-E04 or EN 13725.
